Mixed media visual art workshops engage people in making art. Artworks can be
drawings, paintings, murals, found-object sculptures, masks or mosaics but it is
the experience of creating these artworks and the pleasure of the process that is
the main focus of take part in art! events.
You may leave with nothing to put on your wall at all, you may take back a
collection of interesting drawings that you didn’t expect to make or you may have
contributed to a vibrant collaborative artwork that will remain on public view for
others to admire - every workshop is different. What they all offer is the potential
to change perceptions of your own creativity and the means to engage with the
absorbing process of making art.
